  • What are the key conventions that help you identify the print text (e.g. title, central image, review quotes etc.)?

  • Key conventions of a film poster are the reviews and ratings presented at the top which gives the audience quick sense of what to expect from the film. Also the names of the actors are shown. The fact that there aren't any well known actors creates the impression that the film will be more realistic and make it seem like the situations the actors experience, can happen to anyone.  The tag line "To control your life, you must control your manners" gives an idea of what the aims of the characters are.
